    There is also a slight chance it is a good advice, seen as a bad advice at firet, but shows it's value as time passes, then you realize old man already knew how the movie ends and was advising for what matters at the end.

    Any advice is good advice, the vast majority of people don't want to see their fellow man fail. I don't recommend trades because I have a Hardon for blue collar trade jobs, I do it because chances are it's better than what you are doing. Best yet, you can do it while you are looking for something better, and you never know whose house you'll be working in, it's a great way to network if you have any idea how to communicate.

    And almost guaranteed to learn something that will benefit you, which could save you thousands.
